BAD IDEA!
It is 1.4 miles there and good thing I didn't know that before because when I left I was thinking that it wasn't too far at all. LM #1 decided that he wanted to ride in the backpack instead of his brother. I thought, "Eh, they're only 5 lbs different, how bad could it be?" BAD. Not only is LM #1 5 lbs heavier, but he is a lot longer and so his weight is distributed differently. On our way there I tried to get him to sit in the buggy but he wasn't going for that. Oooooh no, he wanted to ride in the "pack-pack" with Mama.
Well, when we first left the house it was overcast and not too hot. But, true to Utah weather (and my bad luck), about half way there the clouds departed and the sun decided to show its awful face! ha ha But seriously 95 degrees wearing a 26 lb child and pushing a 21 pound child for close to 2 hours is not exactly my idea of a good time.
But hey, I got a good workout in right? Let me tell you this though, I was one hot, sweaty, sticky, smelly Mama.
This weight had better come off FAST!!
